A Living Lutheran Creed

What do Lutherans believe? How do we tell the world what it means to be Lutheran? On September 10th, as our nation prepares to mourn the tenth anniversary of the September 11th attacks, Lutherans across America are being asked to do something a little bit brave: write down what we believe on a sign and go out into our communities to share that belief.

We’ll gather at the church’s fellowship hall at 10 am on Saturday, September 10th. We’ll prepare our signs together and share what we believe with our church family. Then, at 11 am, we’ll go out into the Montrose neighborhood in small groups - a living creed on the highways and byways. At noon we’ll return to the church to share a meal and talk about how it feels to share our faith.
